If it is in your budget, a helicopter tour is THE way to see the Grand Canyon. You get up close and personal in a way that none of the other tours allows.

Pick ups take place at most Las Vegas hotels for a free transfer to and from the airport.

All seats in the helicopter provide a great view as you take off, soaring first over Lake Mead and Hoover Dam, before heading for the Grand Canyon. As you near the Canyon you will enjoy spectacular vistas of the extinct volcanoes of the Black Mountains, before flying over Grapevine Mesa and then across the Grand Wash Cliffs, before entering the Canyon itself.

The views are both beautiful and awe inspiring as you descend below the rims and fly between the Canyon walls.

You will step back in time as you descend 4000 feet into the depths of the Grand Canyon, before landing next to the historic Colorado River. There is half an hour to sit and enjoy a picnic lunch served under an authentic Hualapai Indian shelter called a Ramada, before briefly exploring the pristine Hualapai tribal land. The lunch consists of a turkey or vegetarian sandwich, chips, fruit, cookie, soft drinks and champagne.

Please allow 3 1/2 hours from hotel to hotel. The approximate flight time is 1 1/2 hours, of which 30 minutes is spent on the Canyon floor.
