The first part of the trail makes its way through a forest, with the Firehole River popping in and out of view. It then travels through wide open meadows, with steam emanating from thermal features off in the distance. We try and time the hike so that we arrive at the Daisy Group of Geysers just before the start of Daisy Geyser's eruption period. While we're waiting, or after the eruption, we'll walk the loop around the various geysers and pools, including Comet Geyser, Splendid Geyser and Brilliant Pool. It's a short walk to Morning Glory Pool, but it goes past or close to several major geysers including Giant Geyser, Grotto Geyser and Riverside Geyser. The Artemisia Trail trailhead is adjacent to Morning Glory and we'll get onto that for a delightful stroll in the wilderness, following the Firehole River again. The trail is home to several beautiful hot springs plus Artemisia Geyser, as well as Seismic Geyser. The trail is about 3.2 miles (five kilometres) long. Please take a look at the two videos we have of this hike. One is a highlights video of the Daisy Geyser Trail, Morning Glory, Artemisia Trail triangle, and the other is the complete Daisy Geyser Trail, Morning Glory, Artemisia Trail triangular hike.
